The Austrian–Congolese Society (ACS) is a high-level, one-day annual flagship initiative of IPHD – International Promoting Human Development, organized alternately in Austria and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
ACS brings together Austrian and Congolese investors, business leaders, sponsors, strategic partners, diplomats, academics, students, civil society actors, and key stakeholders, as well as friends of Austria and friends of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The initiative aims to strengthen bilateral and multilateral relations and to promote sustainable peace, security, and development, while fostering a favorable business and investment climate.

ACS 2025 represented a unique annual opportunity to engage with influential actors and decision-makers who can support your projects, investments, and long-term aspirations in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
To encourage international participation, special support packages were offered to the first 10 registered participants arriving from abroad, including assistance with:
Visa facilitation and administrative procedures related to investment or professional activities
Hotel accommodation for five (5) nights in the city center
One guided city and surroundings tour
One organized visit to Nsele Park (Wildlife and Animal Park)
By taking part in the ACS 2025 Edition, participants were engaged in meaningful, high-level discussions that promote cross-cultural understanding, cooperation, and sustainable partnerships between Austria and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
